Rodriguez comes in and tries to implement his gimicky system. Michigan gets rolled for a couple of years. Rodriguez gets fired. In comes Les Miles.

Very true, like Buckeye86 said the fans are happy because it is a big name. I think the admins are happy because they now have a name they can point to as a huge poaching job - after 4 weeks of what was perceived as bumbling and complete ineptitude.

No, I'm postulating that the natural thing for an OSU fan to do regarding Michigan is find fault no matter what. Even if Brian Kelly were hired (still would have been my top choice, but oh well, RichRod works fine for me) would you guys be more inclined to [censored] your pants and worry, or convince yourselves it doesn't matter, that Tressel will still own him? And even if it were the former, I don't think it'd be borne out on a public board.

And no, I don't think Martin did a great job with the search process, but then again he didn't hire Kirk Ferentz or Brady Hoke, did he?
