Oh, and regarding Mallett.....I do think he'll be able to work in a spread offense. Not a spread option mind you (it'll look exactly the same as a regular toss sweep.) But remember that Mallett worked exclusively from the shotgun in high school. No reason why he can't play a little spread, and if we're lucky, have Pryor come in as a nice change of pace. Many are due to desperation having set in a couple of weeks ago.

I still have a number of concerns and at this point I'm not sure if they'll be minimized or magnified in the short term.
