Just over at the UM boards and their heads are deep in the sand. This is all created by WVU because of their hostility. And the "eye witness" is after all, a mountaineer.
You certainly have to give RR the proverbial benefit of the doubt, but if the records have in fact been destroyed you have to ask why would anyone, even RR, do so. Did he shred records last year when he accepted the Alabama job? As I read it the absence of these records could actually do damage to the kids themselves. Why do this? Cover up? Be a bit more selective.
I must also admit that despite my eternal bashing of all things UM I do have a lot of respect for their program and what they stand for. There are people at UM who care deeply about integrity and they have to be looking at this with their own set of questions.
Further, from everything I have seen from RR the past two years I believe he will do whatever it takes to succeed - including violation of recruiting rules - many of which are not at all clear cut. He is under tremendous pressure to bring in kids for this class who fit his scheme. Word is he has just been to Parkersburg. We know he is hot after TP.
The veracity of this latest story is quite relevant to the Buckeye nation.

Ya know, it seems to me unlikely that Coach Dickwad would take the time to destroy those types of files. What seems more likely to me is that about the same time he left he had some assistants or others help him "move" his stuff out of town. I could envision some lackeys taking everything in the private office out, as time was of the essence. I would bet that they will be "found" and returned.
If he did do what some accuse him of, it is obviously indefensible.

People lie about many things. This doesn't sound like something that you make up.
Maybe its just me, but once all is said and done, I don't get the feeling that Rodriguez will ever coach a game for Michigan.

I think your crazy, someone will pay off someone blah blah blah, but RR will not be able to do this scUM (years from now, maybe not many)beacause no one will want him after he does nothing up there but break .500, beat ND, and maybe win a pre-new year bowl game every once in a while.

For me it boils down to this, how often do people truely change? In my experience its rarely if ever.
If a guy is shady at one place do you think he's going to walk the straight and narrow at the next place? Especially when there is more pressure to win?
Did Erickson get in trouble at just one school or multiple? Neuhisel(sp)? Kelvin Sampson straigthen up at IU? Switzer ever turn a new leaf?
Regardless of specific charges, and to what degree they are accurate, I think its pretty obvious from this whole fiasco, and some stuff insiders have put out there about his recruiting, that RR's integrity is questionable at best.
Sooner or later(probably sooner) the pressure to win at scUM mixed with his already lax moral compass is going to get him, and by extension scUM, into trouble. Its a matter of when, not if.
When it happens the Harvard of the Midwest is going to have people asking why they hired a guy with such a spotty background. The answers should be fun.

Rich (As in Rodriguez), Rick (As in Neuheisel), Pacman Jones, Chris Henry, Noel Devine...
Oh, if you wanna go even deeper: Offered Alabama job, which was taken by Nick Saban, which is almost Nick Satan, which is almost Rick Satan, which is almost Rich Satan. Hence, Rich is Satan.
It is like a puzzle that never ends. You can always link this guy to some sort of bad stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised if Fraudriguez violated a whole bunch of state records laws. You'd be surprised at what is considered a public record and what must be kept on hand and furnished upon request.
