USC could get injured players for ND
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Southern California appears to be getting healthy at the best possible time.
Several injured Trojans, including quarterback John David Booty and leading rusher Stafon Johnson, expressed optimism Wednesday concerning their availability for this weekend's game at Notre Dame.

Well, things aren't off to a great start:
Quote:
MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- USC players, coaches and supporters aboard the team's charter flight from Los Angeles endured a harrowing arrival in South Bend, Ind., on Thursday night.
Several players, administrative staff and coaches' spouses said passengers were hurled out of their seats and hit their heads on the ceiling when the plane dropped while making an approach through a lightning storm. The pilot aborted the approach and circled before landing without incident, said Dennis Slutak, USC's director of football operations.

As far as injuries go...
Booty is back, but Carroll hasn't announced a starter.
Baker will suit, but only play in an emergency.
Rachal, Cushing, Johnson, and Maualuga can all play, but whether they will start is up in the air.

When healthy, Johnson is our best. Washington will get the bulk of the carries, and McKnight will get an increasing load now that he seems to be figuring things out.

Is Herschel Dennis still at USC or is that the drugs?

Eric Wright was the drugs. Dennis is there and gets carries here and there. With Johnson coming back, he'll start to get fewer carries.
