Chop block is where you cut a guy who is being blocked by someone else. Those are illegal. Cut blocks are an important part of quick passes or cutting off backside pursuit and not cheap (unless you played defense).

they're all dirty (when at the los or without giving the defensive player time and space to react), legal, and often employed blocks that should be made illegal. the ncaa and the nfl should not be in the business of promoting injuries.
