the whole big ten is... just bad... This is a transition era for the big ten IMO. There has been only 1 truely dominant team the past 6 years. Ohio State. We need teams like Minnesota, MSU, Purdue, Iowa, and Wisconsin to step up and make this an elite conference... With Michgain sputtering, and PSU always being a question mark it leaves OSU as the only team that wins with an regularity.

Will this Big 10 loss to a 1-AA team be a big deal or no deal, compared to what App State did?

This would be the second I-A team ND State has beaten this year. So I really doubt much will be made of this - it's not a shocker that Minnesota is a bad, bad team.
