Washington-Oregon State: Locker carted off

Prayers out to Jake Locker, the QB at Washington who was carted off the field immobilized after a helmet-to-helmet hit (not a particularly bad one from what I saw, just one of those things) in the 2nd quarter. Here's hoping he is OK and it was just a precaution, but it didn't look good.

Very disturbing.

This kid has a very bright future, and has looked good at times- kept up with Oregon for three quarters, helped upset Boise State, almost beat USC.

I hope nothing bad happens to him.

My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

ESPN showed him on the sidelines with a neck brace. I assume it wasnt life threatening..

WHACK! our loss means nothing to me now if he isn't OK. sometimes things happen that bring you back to reality. i didn't see it but i hope he's OK.
