A rivalry losing steam
For my 500th post,
I wanted to point out something very interesting.
Next week, the Iron Bowl is being played, but who's paying attention?
They have a lot of losses heading into this game, including Alabama losing to LOUISIANA-MONROE???
Kansas/Missouri and Virginia/Virginia Tech play for BCS rights, while the Iron Bowl is basically for the right to play in the Independence Bowl??
We are SO lucky to revel in the best rivalry in college football.

I won't miss it. 7 or 8 losses for both teams annually would be just dandy for me, one of the reasons why I hope Tubberville hauls ass after this season.

Well, it says that Alabama is just so thoroughly exhausted and beaten up from having to play SEC teams week in and week out that they needed a week off to recover. But next week, if they beat Auburn (or lose to Auburn in a good game), all will be forgotten. | |
