Halftime bands-what happened to them?
Does it [censored] anyone off that the bands aren't shown during half time anymore? I really don't care to hear anymore broadcast babble. I enjoy
watching the bands (from both teams) and have no way of seeing them
unless I go to the games. Anyone aggree? How to start lobbying?

How to start lobbying?
The first thing you'll need to do is go to the Universities and speak to the ADs, Presidents, and Band Directors, and tell them to start playing commercial jingles during half time. Maybe have the bands spell out a script Dr. Pepper on the field or something.
Otherwise, that day is gone. Networks need the money from presenting the Dr. Pepper Halftime Report, Presented by Dr. Pepper ... or Craig James's opinions, sponsored by Tampax.

I really should leave this alone... but ... as I have said for years the average male football fan ( other than band geeks) could give a crap about the band other than after a TD/victory when they play the schools fight song. Sorry but it's true...
Have any of you been to a high school game lately and look at these kids??
Having said that the dotting of the "I" that OSU does has always been really cool to see during the Michgan game.

Cmon guys , we have to have something going on while we pee, smoke and grab a beer from our secret beer flask. so while we are away let the band play, only the women watch it anyway.

How about buying a ticket and going to the game. No "broadcast babble" there. Personally, If I don't want to hear any "broadcast babble" I change the channel.

TBDBITL's halftime show against Wisky was one for the ages. It would have looked awesome on the tube.
Other than that , I have no interest in viewing other teams' bands.
The only instrument I want to see being played at the half would be my
own.
