Root is far too strong. I most certainly do NOT root for them. But, I'd prefer to see them win for the sake of the conference than to lose. If they do lose, I prefer if they get embarrassed.
Far as I'm concerned skunkbear can win every game of the year, except for the Ohio State game. But .... root for them? No. [censored] no.
