No, but that usually just means lots of passing yards. Its efficency and scoring that should concern people.
All in all, I went and looked at the box score of that first game and OU had a 17 point lead untill Mizzou tacked one on at the end. Also I think OU has just as good an offense and a much better defense.
You never can tell but I'll keep repeating myself on this one, we really can't ask for much more in terms of needing an "upset" to move up. I think we just need the better team to win. I know it doesn't seem like it this year but overall they usually do that.

Seems like every time teams play each other twice in the same season, the losing team in the first game is usually the winning team the second time around.

That Texas Tech game couldn't have helped, I bet.
Either way, one would have to believe Mizzou will play them much tougher a second time around - assuming they play focused. I doubt OU will roll on them again. Should be exciting - I'll be watching the game with the airline ticket sites bookmarked, waiting to pull the trigger on where we're going in January!

No, but OU did ok in the second half iirc. As always its a complete team game. No defense is going to hold a powerful offense in check when their own offense is going 3 and out every series. I know he doesn't play defense but losing their QB early like that did indeed hurt the overall defensive effort.
