No. It's all about playing well in the big games. Texas was Troy's Heisman game. If Todd can have a similar game against USC and finish the season undefeated, he'll be invited to New York(and watch Beanie take home the trophy ).

I don't want Boeckman taking away votes from Beanie personally.. It is quite possible that Beanie + Animal + Possibly Boeckman (personally I don't think he'll be too high on the Heisman list, but maybe that's just me) steal each other's votes.

If all 3 of them are there, that means Ohio State and by extension those 3 have had such a great year that a couple votes going one way or the other won't matter much.
It likely WON'T happen however....

I just want to say this. I want to say it gently but I want to say it firmly: There is a tendency for the world to say to America, "the big problems of the world are yours, you go and sort them out," and then to worry when America wants to sort them out.

Personally I don't think Boeckman has too much of a chance.. But Beanie IMO has a huge chance, and Animal might not get invited but he can still take some votes.. And next year looks competitive with Tebow coming back and also Moreno, Bradford, etc... Could come down to a small amount of votes. Animal got some hype this year and next year, especially if we shut down USC's offense, he will get massive hype..

It's been about a week since I've disagreed with you, so...
The Game was Troy's Heisman game, or at least the game which locked it up for him...going 29-41-1 for 316 yards and 4 TDs, leading the offense to 42 points, against the #2 team in the country in the biggest rivalry game in all of American sports will do that.

Agreed. He was already the favorite heading into the scUM game, but clinched it by dicing up the scUM D. Even with the early second half miscues, that was the point that he ran away with it.
If Beanie has a big game (140-150 yards, couple TD's) on as big a stage as the USC game, he'll be hard to beat.

Tebow will repeat. Why, you ask?
Because the Virgin Mary saw Tim Tebow's face in her toast.
