I think Peterson has a couple steps on Wells, but they both have enough speed to take it the distance. As far as the injuries go, Beanie played in every game last season. I don't believe Peterson did that once in his college career. Sure, Beanie was knicked up, but he still peaked in the last game of the regular season, so I don't really see the two situations as comparable.

Gotcha'. Just saying Beanie's speed is downright unfair for someone that big. He is going to put up an all-timer of a performance at the NFL combine.

Oh no doubt, for his size it's criminal how fast he is. He's almost (almost) AJ Hawk's size, and he's got at least 0.1s on Hawk in the 40. That's pretty ridiculous for a guy that size.

The injury issues are, in my mind, unrelated to the toughness issues. Both Beanie and AP have been injured a lot. AP wasn't able to play through his injuries (admittedly, though, a broken collar bone is mildly harder to play through than a bum ankle or wrist), whereas Beanie was. You could argue that Beanie is tougher than AP...I wouldn't, but you could make that argument. I do, however, think it's inarguable that Beanie and AP both have suffered...an inordinate number of injuries, between them.

I'm not questioning AP's toughness. Moreso his brittleness.

Brittlness being a physical limitation and toughness being more mental.

Are they already accepting ballots? Crap, I hope my ballot gets to them in time if I wait until a game is played before I send it!
