USC off-field issues (merged)
Alright, I've had enough. This is like the New England Patriots of the College Ranks. How does every journalist find a way to dry hump them like this?
If they were that good, they would be playing Monday (sorry methomps).
If they were that good, they would have beaten the Cardinal (sorry methomps).
Why did they celebrate the Rose Bowl like they did? They acted like they won the NCG, but in the end it's jsut a consolation prize.
Yea, the Rose Bowl is the most meaningful game, but not when they were treated as if this years National Championship was a mail in stamp away. I mean what the [censored] man? Petey failed again. How do you manage to lose two games when you're "almight SC".
They praise his recruiting as if god himself did it. If his recruiting was so good, they'd have National Titles to show for it.

Personal feelings about USC aside it does bear mentioning that the same online "writers" that are calling for USC being a co-national champion were tearing them apart and writing them off for dead not that long ago

We win on Monday night and it will be the same thing, suddenly they will all tell you how they knew it all along and will point back to some afterthought phrase that they put into some odds and ends column.
