What do people see in Mack Brown? I don't get it? He's big into the nepotism or so it seem i.e. son in law on the payroll and doing nothing

He did win a NC (or maybe we should say Mack recruited the players, namely Vince Young who won a NC) and is a fantastic recruiter. Seems like a good guy as well.

I disagree with Carroll, he does quite a bit to try and keep his kids in school, he's under the microscope right now, but he's had offers to leave and he hasn't. He's a high energy coach, about the only problem I really see with him is your kid might not play because he recruits so many players for key positions.

My opinion may change if the whole Bush thing turns into something real, but so far, he's done well on the field, he's good with the media, he's good with the kids, his players love him and he's trying to get all his kids to graduate.
