[censored] the University of Georgia and its lying, hypocritical Helen Hunt look-alike coach. The stinking mange ridden poodles won't even win the SEC East.

I love how they pander to him and ask if he's disappointed about not being in the Title game. Hey ESPN, remember back when you said Michigan shouldn't play in the BCS title game because they didn't win their conference (and you were right)? Yeah, about that. You might want to double check and see who won the SEC last year (much less the SEC East). Here's a hint: not [censored]ing Georgia.
If you're not the best team in your division, much less your own conference, you sure as hell shouldn't play for the MNC.

Pulley's legal issues lead to Hartline getting starting QB nod
Associated Press
Updated: July 31, 2008, 1:49 PM ET
LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Kentucky quarterback Curtis Pulley's recent legal troubles mean sophomore Mike Hartline will begin preseason camp as the Wildcats' starting quarterback.
Kentucky coach Rich Brooks announced Thursday that Pulley, who was even with Hartline after spring practice in their competition to replace the departed Andre Woodson, has been demoted to No. 2.
Pulley was arrested on several traffic charges in Hardin County on July 22. He pleaded guilty to speeding in Hardin County District Court on Wednesday. A charge of driving on a suspended or revoked license was dismissed.

It requires a disciplined defense to defend that. Like Spurrier's system when he hit the SEC, the spread gets some success from lots of defenses not seeing it. As more teams go to it, more DCs will figure it out until the next big thing. The fun-n-gun is not so scary now, and the spread will be a threat for a few more years until it gets old. Ultimately, the personnel will decide the deal.

The Cock and Fire isn't scary because the Ole Ball Coach doesn't have the personnel to run it at an elite level at fake USC. When that offensive has a good QB ie Rex Grossman and the talent on offense it's one of the best in the country.

Very quickly things dissolve...

Auburn resumes quarterback race
AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Now, Auburn's real quarterback competition can begin.
Contenders Chris Todd and Kodi Burns settled little over the spring, partly because Todd was having shoulder troubles. They resume the race for the starting job when fall camp opens Saturday.
It's the biggest question facing the Tigers: Who will operate Tony Franklin's new spread offense? None of the principles seem particularly concerned, and Auburn was nonetheless the popular pick to win the Southeastern Conference Western Division.
