Miami, which has the athletes to keep them in it if we are sloopy and turn it over. Uk loses too much. Also, Miami is more like a grudge match rivals game than UK, due to the infrequency that we play. Finally, Miami has owned us lately, and UK seldom has it in their heads that they will beat us - outside of a miracle.

UK fans get sensitive when you mention miracle

Very quickly things dissolve...

You sound like a Gator falling down all over yourself to find reasons that Miami might win.

Auburn's Savage out for season after knee surgery
AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Auburn cornerback Aairon Savage will miss the season after undergoing knee surgery.
Coach Tommy Tuberville said Wednesday's operation was a success.
Savage was a starting safety last season and finished with 26 tackles. He hurt the knee in Monday's practice.
Tuberville did not specify the extent or nature of the injury. Savage's brother told the Albany Herald in Georgia that the player had a dislocated knee cap, a torn ACL and a torn MCL.
Savage is eligible for a medical redshirt and could return in 2009 with two years remaining.
Cont'd ...

yeah, I'm late to the party, but here's my take from back when I was in High School.
I played DB and returned kick in High School.
Me and the guy who played CB on the opposite side from me would race pretty regularly (since we both also ran track).
In 3 years, he only beat me in the 40 a couple of times. Other than that I owned him.
However, I have never beaten him in the 100m. He placed 4th in the state meet our SR year, I didn't even qualify for the district finals.
So just because Rainey runs a faster 40, doesn't necessarily mean he's "faster" than Demps.
