ND will be able to buyout Weis in a year or two if it doesn't work out. Michigan may not be able to afford the same with Rodriguez. Michigan already paid $2.5M plus RRod's legal fees to end the WVU drama. They also owe him $2.5M a year for 6 years. Weis makes $3.5-$4M a year, but ND's media contract is much more favorable and they are flush with cash from recent BCS bowls.

God I wish. This season is a rough one but whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger and I expect Michigan to be back next year. If you review Rich Rodriguez's first year at the new schools he coached at along the way, it's no secret that they are struggles but he seems to make a big improvement in the second year. Getting Tate Forcier and Shavoderick Beaver to play QB next year should certainly help.
This is my first post here but I feel this is probably the best Buckeye board on the net so I'm glad to be a part of it. I envy your success in the recent years and I wish it were still the '90's when it comes to our match ups. Here's to the best damn rivalry in all of sports.
