At ND early won't be easy at all.
At improving Northwestern before OSU will be a trap game.
scUM does have some talent, but when does it start jelling? When does a QB step up? Does one this year?
Again. I think how the schedule plays out is a big factor.
Any injuries at all could send them reeling.

Several 6 win teams have been to bowls lately, some have lost and ended up with a losing record in a 'bowl season', like UCLA last year.
The rules state that 6-win teams are eligible, as long as only 1 win is over an FCS (1-AA) team. There are also rules that bowls must take 7-win teams before they select 6-win teams, but the conference tie-ins allow 6-win teams to be selected before that comes into play.

6-6 UM is a lock for a bowl. They'd be playing at the Motor City Bowl... great ticket potential.

Unless the Motor City Bowl takes a 7-5 MSU team.
