Illinois ain't Michigan...they had squat for talent before Zook took over. What they did back then is irrelevent to what Michigan will do this season. This season's Michigan team still has as much overall talent, top to bottom, as Illinois' Rose Bowl team of last year. This thing that hurts Michigan the most is the fact that most of their losses where at key positions (QB, RB). They have enough of a pure talent base to earn a bowl bid.

Michigan going 6-6 and slipping into the Motor City Bowl vs (insert MAC team) and losing to said MAC team would be good for some laughs

A voice of reason calling out in the wilderness... I just hope Michigan is good enough to beat Notre dame.

I'd make the vbet on them having a losing season overall.

Before you lay own your hard-earned vCash, let me remind you (and everyone else) that Michigan has had a winning record every year since 1984 (when they went 6-6) and haven't had a losing season since 1967 (4-6). Michigan just has so much more talent than everyone on their schedule except for their final regular-season opponent...even DickRod will be able to squeeze six wins out of his first year.

Jay Paterno is going to be peeved that his secret advantage is out, between the "Tornado" game and Techmo football PSU will return to prominence next year, I just hope Fat Chuck doesn't get ahold of this, NoD would have a legitimate chance to win a bowl game.

I'm sure that scUM will be in a bowl game next year, they still have the talent level and coaching to beat most of the lower-tier teams on their schedule.
However, they very well could end up in a lower-tier bowl game, and have a couple of very embarrassing blowout losses during their season this year.
