By the way, I'm gonna pull out a homer pick here and nominate Scott Stadium. Reason is, since I started at UVA we are 57-43 (.570) but 38-12 (.760) at home. Even with the usual home boost teams get, that's a lot. Admittedly some of those losses are real clunkers, but there aren't many of them, and a lot of those wins are upsets, blowouts, or both.

Its nice to see the Big 10 on top with the biggest 3, I guess too much noise would slow the SEC down!

I was in C-Deck for The Game in '06 and I can distinctly remember my ears ringing during the moment of silence for Bo during the pregame, so that means that the stadium was rocking loud enough to make my ears ring prior to the game even starting (cheering for the band was especially loud). In my opinion, that is one of the things that separates Ohio State fans from the rest, we embrace all aspects of the University and all of the traditions that come with it.

I don't recall too many on this site who "embraced" Dr. Karen Holbrook's crackdown on booze and tailgating, but yeah, I think the school does a far better than average job of supporting and embellishing traditions. Here are some I'm sad to have seen gone: 1. The doughboy statue just inside the gate at 15th and High. 2. The playing of taps each Wednesday to honor OSU grads who died serving their country. 3. The May Day military review on the Oval. 4. Homecoming decorations on living quaters and not floats in a parade. 5. North and South 'bergs. 6. Charberts, Longs, Ptomaine Tommy's, The Venetian and all the other non-corporate stores on High Street.
