Of those first three games, I think the Big Ten teams are capable of sweeping them, but I think it is more likely that they get swept. I'll be rooting for them (well, two of them anyway) but I think scUM is still a mess, MSU always seems to disappoint in this kind of game, and Illinois has become a vastly overrated team that is playing a Missouri team that looks like the real deal.

I don't know about the impact of these games, but the B10 really sucks. We have one great team, a few middle of the packs and a bunch of [censored]. Our beloved conference's biggest win yesterday was against the 'Cuse???

To be fair it wasn't that bad. None of the teams got beaten badly.

Everyone was predicting a Missou blowout...and yet Juice Williams exposed that secondary and hung 42 on Missou.

MSU beat themselves. Blocked Punt for a TD, defensive TD, stupid penalties, etc...

and yet they still had a shot to tie/win the game in the final seconds in Cal territory on the road in a fairly hostile environment. MSU was no pushover and I think Cal will do decent in the Pac10 by finishing 3rd or 4th which is where I expect MSU to finish in the B10.

Was anyone really shocked to see Michigan lose to Utah? Almost every single ESPN Analyst called that one...
