Went to our Alamo Bowl in 2004. If you want the bowl experience without breaking the bank I recommend this one. The Riverwalk was packed with fans, the Hotel Emily Morgan was first rate (and walking distance from everything), and you can take in a little history the next day.

The riverwalk is a nice area, haven't been there for a game, but imagine it's great, and you're right, very affordable.

kicker killed the ball, but wide left...

With better play-calling on offense by the Mildcats we would be looking at a chance to make the Over. Right now though that looks fat as they give up back to back sacks, and waste their biggest talent on the field.
