What's the major difference? Beanie has the size/speed combo that will make scouts salivate. AD's upright running style left/leaves him open to injuries, Beanie's injuries have been more fluke/bad luck than anything.

Not to go off topic but I wouldn't take a running back in the first round based value even if I was getting AP.

Tim Hightower, Brian Westbrook, Earth, Wind and Fire for the Giants, Moore and Parker for the Steelers, Sproles, Lendale White and Leron McClain were all not drafted in the first round and are playing in the 2nd weekend of the NFL playoffs.

I can think of a lot of reasons I wouldn't consider that a comparison,but none you would want to hear. You can take a look at that and pick out what you wish. Rushing for 225 yards against Texas his freshman year is a good starting point..The most rushing yards in an nfl game topped off by actually appearing in a wildcard game most recently.

Moronic. Which injuries were flukes again? The knee contusion, stress fracture, stinger(s), ankle sprain, broken wrist, torn toe ligament, pulled hamstring(s), broken wrist, or the concussion? Good thing he doesn't run upright like AD, or else he may have really gotten hurt, eh?

I think Chris Wells is the best back in the college game (when healthy) but you'd be crazy not to be concerned about his proneness to injury given his college (and high school) career.... If it were my millions, Moreno would be number one by a long shot.

I would take AD in the first round in a heartbeat. However, I do totally agree about the average talent left in later rounds. You could wait around and pick up Greene(or other multiple solid backs) from Iowa in round two and get a defensive player (or specific team need),and be just fine.

Fair enough, you're certainly entitled to your opinion. I happen to think the gap between the two isn't that great. I'd give the overall edge to AD, but, to me, Beanie isn't that far behind. Beanie has the edge in size/power, AD has the edge in speed/vision. I think if you put Beanie behind some of those lines AD ran behind at OU, the stats would be pretty similar. Either way, they're both athletic freaks and I think they'll both have great pro careers...if they stay healthy.

I'm hoping the Bengals pick up an outside owner or a middle general manager in the first round. I'm praying that no Buckeyes will be drafted by the Bungles and that they pick more assholes from USC and Michigan (a pretty wide open field).

Expanding on what jwins said earlier, as long as he's three years out of high school, he's good to go...where he was for those three years (prep, college, military, etc.) is irrelevent.
