But that won't rile the folks up like the Tennessee billboards will.

C'mon - that's crazy talk. Sure the hype is there but ultimately the coaches and players have to get it done. Notre Dame has all the hype in the world - but they suck camel balls because of the talent level of the players (gradually improving) and the ability of the coaching staff (with the exception of Tenuta - they ain't worth a damn). Show me a league where Spurrier, Miles, Saban, Richt, and Meyer are coaches and I'll show you a strong league. |

The SEC already has great coaches and players. But the ESPN machine will use its influence to keep the cycle going. To think it's the death knell for the other leagues is paranoia. But I believe that thinking it won't matter is naivete. I've seen them hype too many events/leagues that they cover, and give minimal coverage to those they don't cover, to make me seriously concerned by this development.

Spurrier has to stay throughout the length of his initial contract if he wants to keep his membership at Augusta National. |

While the video is old and grainy, the audio is really, really good on this. And the tune is peppy and dance-able. I give it a 10. You do need to turn your audio up to the highest settings to get the full effect. |

that would be more than 3 times as long as Saban is interested in keeping a job. |

Riley Cooper signed a MLB contract that lets him finish out his Senior season as a Gator wide receiver. Terms were around the 200K bonus range. Cooper is a project player, seen as a good shot to improve in the minors if he can devote himself solely to baseball. At one time he was seen as a potential top ten-twenty pick out of HS, but injuries his senior year and his devoting his time to football hampered his development. He has power, speed, and a good arm. Needs to learn to hit the curve ball. [insert Jobu reference here]

He might not get fired because they can't do much better. He's had more than enough time for his greatness to lift South Carolina.

Which high schools? Georgia? He should have already been estbalished in Florida. Surely you aren't saying he is establishing a great recruiting presence in-state? If so, I'll not only disagree, but flat out tell you tat you are clueless.
