Well it appears they aren't all crazy:

"Tressel will never get where RR is going."
If RR wins 3 BCS games (including a NC) in his first five years as our head coach, I would be thrilled.
He'd also have to go 7-0 against OSU in the coming years to match Tressel's record in The Game.
Not to be a buzzkill, but RR won't even be close to matching Tressel's success in the best case scenario. I'd be happy with half of Sweatervest's accomplishments at this point.

I just did the math on a few things. For RR to match what JT has done in his first 8 years he will have to do the following over the next 7:

Win 79 of his next 84 games to reach a win % of .822
Play for 3 of the next 7 NC's and win at least 1
Win 5 of the next 7 B10 championships including at least 4 in a row
Go 7-0 in The Game
Go to a BCS Bowl 6 of the next 7 years
Have a B10 win streak of at least 20 games
Have at least 1 Heisman winner


Yeah, you guys might want to start with goals like beating [censored]ing Toledo first.

Browns DC Mel Tucker is interviewing for the Jets HC position. Also has the interest of another NFL staff (rumored to be the Lions).

UM fans are hoping they can snag him - and break into Ohio/Glenville - since current UM assistant Hopson does not seem eager to take the DC position (politics, power-struggle, etc).

My bad, I messed up the math.

He only has to go 76-8 over the next 7 years to get to 79-17 which would be an 82.29 win %.

So in retrospect I can see the authors point. Thinking RR can win 90% of the games he plays for the next 7 years is completely reasonable. I mean look how many teams have played .900 ball for a 7 year span lately.
