One of the local sports writing idiots mentioned a couple of weeks ago that Mason was the first choice for the OSU job when Tressel was hired. He made it sound like a contract had been offered, but there was some sort of snafu. I figured it was just his own idiocy as a blatant michigan fan, but wondered if anyone else had ever heard anything like this.
