yes he does. he would just run over and lick davis until he got to know him a little better. if davis rubbed his belly, then a spin and pee may be in order.

We could have a good chance with Davis considering VAtech already has Elan Lewis and the Vols have LaMarcus Coker.

JAMES DAVIS
School, class: Douglass, senior
Position: Running back
Vital statistics: 6-1, 205
Just the facts: Explosive runner who had 1,692 yards and 18 touchdowns despite a midseason ankle injury. Good hands with 14 receptions for 226 yards. As a sophomore, had 1,450 yards rushing. Runs a 4.45 in the 40 and benches 295 pounds.
Colleges: Top choices are Tennessee, Clemson, Alabama, Georgia Tech, LSU and Georgia.
Interests: Reading, playing Play Station II and watching football films.
T-shirts or throwback jerseys: Throwback. I like the idea that you can wear an old school player jersey.
General comment on the season: "I know it will be tough, but we are going 10-0 on the regular season."

He said that he was a long shot but anything could happen (probably stays with Va Tech)- translation= he doesn't know much about him and was caught by suprise like the rest of us by his official visit.

Thanks for the info. After this kid visits, I wouldn't be suprised if he becomes our #2 back behind Mo Wells. We are probably #2 right now behind vatech and are chances aren't great with Gwaltney. He could be 215-220 next year and would go along with Haw as a bigger back.

Notice that he was rated as the #15 player in Georgia in the preseason rankings... now he's rated #35 in the country. Must've had a huge senior season to make that jump.

gary housteau had a promising tidbit a bout gwaltny on BN. his latest rivals update states that PT is the most important factor. that has to give osu and edge over usc and put them at least on par with wvu.
now if your pt chances were about the same at osu and wvu, what would you choose?
however, petey caroll can sell him some lines about how bush, lendell white and dennis will all leave for the nfl after next year and gwaltny wil have the job for himself etc...
