17-6 Dawgs in the 3rd qtr.

Georgia seems to be playing more physical than the Badgers.

I want the big10 to do well, but I just hate Wisconsin because of most of their fans that I have met, personally. Very obnoxious.

very true... I lived up there for 6 years. I do have some very good freinds that are badger fans so it makes it a little easier to root for them if I have to.

I just wish they would find some offense already.

I told a wisconsin fan once, "JT wins the big games" and then we lost to Northwestern, Wisconsin, and Iowa. He laughed for three weeks and ragged on me constantly about it...

I haven't seen him since ;-) AND boy did I have fun when they got DESTROYED by MSU and then layed an egg when they had a chance to go to the Rose Bowl BECAUSE OF OSU.

This is one fan's account of the 2003 Ohio State at Wisconsin game:

We arrived in Madison around 1 p.m. and the Wisconsin fans were already drunk and abusive. Karen Holbrook would have a stroke. We were barely out of the car before Wisconsin fans were rushing up a screaming profanities at us. The endless chanting of "assholes" really got old, but then they got drunker and the abuse stepped up a notch.

The stadium is a dump. With the renovations they are doing it will be better, but it is a dump. We really enjoyed feeling the upper deck rocking back and forth. Mark had a Wisconsin fan right beside him who eventually picked a fight with someone 5 rows behind us. The guy behind us squeezed the wisconsin guys nose, and that was the end of the fight. The wisconsin guy left, but not before calling us all "assholes." This was also the chant of the student section for the entire game.

Right befroe the end a naked guy ran the length of the field before the cops grabbed him. This was the only time I saw the police doing anything.
They are completely hands off. Even a bicycle shop was selling beer. There was no traffic control. There were guys blocking the street in one area. They had a keg of beer and had set up their party in the middle of Regents street, which is like a concentrated High Street.
That was an area where several of us OSU fans had to push our way thru. Mark held on to the the back of my shirt as we made our way thru this gauntlett of abuse.
Of couse beer and other liquids were being thrown at the OSU fans as they made their way thru the crouded area. Every now and then someone would come up and say "nice game' or somthing similar and then issue the expected "[censored] you asshole!" or worse.

I usually cheer for the Big Ten, but Alvarez and those pigs deserve to lose every game. I don't cheer for Wisconsin when they are playing Michigan.

I went to the Wiscy/Illinois game (joking about wearing scarlet in a sea of red). My seats were in a crowd of older fans, so the game itself was fine, though I doubt I'd have much interest in going back after experiencing The Shoe. The jump-around looks cool on TV, so I was looking forward to that, but only the student section did it... kind of lame.

Outside the stadium, it's no exaggeration to say that every single windowsill within four blocks of the stadium was completely lined with empty alchohol bottles, with a pretty liberal number around every set of stairs, in every planter, along the sidewalks, and pretty much everywhere you looked. That's not a celebration; that's a vomitfest. Can't say they weren't friendly, though... I was invited to participate in all sorts of activities as I walked back to my car.

Still, go Big Ten.
