My TV went out!
Really.... My 27'' LCD TV just up and shut off today. I was furious, I've owned the TV for 8 months (2 months after the FULL warranty expired), took it to Buckeye Electronics in Kettering and found out that I still have a parts warranty so eh... But I'm still [censored]ed off a TV THIS NEW just shuts down like that. No HD (in my room, at least) for 7-10 days... UGH. Oh well, I guess I'll HAVE to watch National Signing Day on our 32'' Poloroid downstairs!

You might want to check the consumer statutes in your State. In Louisiana the consumer laws are very friendly, and trump the stupid warranty that the manufacturer tries to foist on you. Here, I could demand a new one, and get attorneys fees if they refused. Dunno about Yankee law.

A Businessperson's Guide to Federal Warranty Law
Here is the non-Louisiana UCC skinny. Good luck. Maybe the state law on implied warranty gives you some remedy. The Ohio Lawyers here can help.

Latest reports have electronic sales plummeting, so you could consider it an opportune time if you feel your better off buying. The cost of repair on electronics is ridiculous.

Yeah, and the local Meijers is moving so I've been hearing around 20% off! If I get this job, I'll be buying a new LCD TV in a heart beat. Only this time it will be a 1080i instead of 720p
