LG Voyager (Verizon)
I'm thinking about getting one of these because Sprint likes adding things to the family plan that I'm a part of every month, then accusing me of calling and adding various features to all phones included in the plan. And they've done this multiple times! But that's a different thread.
Just looking for some input from my fellow BPers. I've read reviews and they seem positive for the most part, but I'd like to hear more opinions before dishing out a respectable amount of money on something like this..
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I'm also thinking about the enV, if anyone has any thoughts on that.

I have the Voyager, and while it is no iPhone, it is still pretty cool.
The Internet/Mobile TV package is pretty nice, if you want it. I do not have it now, since I really have no need for it.
The Voyager is the enV phone, just with a large touch screen on the outside. There is an expandable memory slot for up to 4gb (I believe). The price is a bit high, but it is a good premium phone, especially if you want to get on the best network (Verizon).

Suits my purposes for phone, email, some internet (if sites are optimized for it, or RSS), camera, and GPS. Given what it would cost to do those things separately, seems well worth it. GPS was the deciding factor for me, and I've been using it for finding new places as well as unfamiliar ones. Haven't signed up for the TV feature, but it looked as though the offerings there are very limited.
Now the service... I had to make a good half dozen calls before everything was received and configured properly. Not sure it would be different with any other carrier, though...

Sounds like a good phone. I'd use all features except the mobile TV thing. The GPS would be very convenient for me.
Are any of you familiar with the plans? I don't need many minutes (150 would do the trick), but I'd like to have no restrictions on web browsing, messaging, etc.

From memory, I believe the calling plans start at $39, and unlimited data is about another $30 or so. Navigation is $10/month. TV is extra, not sure how much. (The figures might be higher separately - look for a "premium" plan that includes both data and GPS.) Tethering as a computer modem would be an additional fee (I might do this at some point, not now).My older phone had very limited reception in some key areas, but the new one picks up phone quite well and internet is just a little slower out in the middle of nowhere, but still there.
Synching to Outlook is about another $30 or so for the add-on program, which seems ridiculous. The mobile email for the free services like Hotmail and Gmail are available with the unlimited data, though. The open source program BitPim can synch Outlook contacts. I just need to figure out how to customize email alerts better - the phone buzzing every 3 minutes for spam is getting tiresome.

I got the Voyager yesterday. I love it so far.. I found a shared plan (my mom got an enV) and if we split it, the bill isn't too expensive.
Thanks for the responses.
