Rundll32 Issue
For the computer-literate out there, is there anything I can do to get rid of the following pop up?
It says... "Windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working" "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". When I've searched for solutions, most people are saying that it's due to installing some sort of video software, and also it's a matter of messing with registry. I haven't a clue about what to do to rectify, and was hoping someone could put it in layman's terms for me to solve this problem. Thank you very much. |

Yeah, I have had this issue before. Go to the nearest Apple store and buy one of theirs.
Seriously, though I have no clue and I lied to you about having this issue before. I apologize. |

Find out what DLL it is running and investigate that. Are you running Vista? It can be setup to show what each dll the program is executing. A good start might be to go to msconfig and just stop everything that is being started and see if the problem persists, if it doesn't, then slowly open up items one by one. What is rundll32.exe And Why Is It Running? :: the How-To Geek That might help you, it will show how to setup your task manager so you can see what each instance of rundll actually is. |

That might matter quite a bit.
Did you install anything recently?? Printers? Games? 64bit VISTA is a bit notorious (although not as much as 64bit XP) for driver issues. |

Two games: Unreal and Half-Life. I've since uninstalled both for differing reasons.
