Thumbs down Since ESPN screwed me....
OK, well I made 500 signs for College Gameday saying "Not in our House!" on the front and "MichiganSillSucks.com" on the back. My friend was down there passing them all out and they were starting to fill the crowd, and then all of a sudden, an ESPN official came over and started snagging them all and kicked out my friend....What a waste to time and money>.. F Espn!

I appreciate your effort regardless.

Are you sure that you guys weren't doing anything else? Thats kind of weird that they would toss him for just that.

I think they prohibit the advertising...I was at Williams-Brice a few years ago and they were taking signs with cursing, advertising, and graphic pictures.

ESPN claims that there is a contract with signs!!
So I just got off of the phone with the guy who had the signs yanked. He tells me that ESPN claims to have a "land contract" on a certain radius around the set and that they can confiscate anything. So being that I did not make the trip this time, so that I could field the rush of web traffic from the signs(HAHA, guess I have some free time now), I am only going by what I am hearing from over the phone. I told them to head over by the ice rink and they did, only to be booted all the way to Lane!!! granted this guy is not the most vocal guy, but ESPN basically took his property(well mine actually) , gave him a lecture and sent him home like a school teacher....OH well, you can bet the farm that I will have something planned for the Gameday Broadcast on Nov 18th....If they can stop 500 little signs, I wonder if they can stop one huge ass banner flying overhead from a plane. And I am almost tempted to make this a weekly duel and start sending signs to every city. OH well, at least he didnt get arrested for "being a fan".........crappy corporate contracts.

I guess ....
I can understand if the signs were anything obscene...but "Not In Our House!" and "MichiganStillSucks" with a .com written under it, is hardly a banner for Lowes or Reebok.

Amen to that i have had some issues with ESPN on there game day stuff and whatever they cover
