It is almost impossible for me to convey just how lucky I feel right now that my son is a part of this program and University. Most people would think that his commitment was a forgone conclusion. Not the case. It was essential that we felt that this was the place to be regardless of my history. What we found was a staff and University that frankly, I cannot for the life of me see why a player and family that has tOSU on their list of possibilities would choose anywhere else but here. Jim Tressel is an amazing person and personality. Yes, PERSONALITY. Yes, the public persona IS part of who he is. But only PART. He epitomizes class, integrity and all the other platitudes you've heard about him. But he's also funny and humble, intelligent and truly cares about these kids as people and student FIRST. The same can be said for EVERY staff member I've come to know. The opportunities this University presents for EVERY student to have the experience of a lifetime are beyond belief. WOW is all I can say. I had to fight back tears SO MANY times while on our visit it's not even funny. These are SPECIAL times for OSU football AND for tOSU. Let me tell you something, I played for Woody Hayes, Earle Bruce, Don Shula, Pete Carroll (He IS very successful). My list could actually go on for quite a ways. This group here right now is second to NONE. Add to all of this is the BUCKEYE NATION! Amazing!
