Video of Marcus playing at RT for Glenville.
Physically imposing. Seems to specialize in run blocking, but he's great at pass blocking too. Engages really well with his hands and uses leverage to his advantage. Relies a lot on his hands and his weight to force guys where he wants them, but he won't be able to rely so much on his weight to push guys around at the next level. Could play a little lower too. Fun to watch him pull from the tackle spot and gets to his man in an angry mood. He's not slow (like his 40 time suggested), but could be much faster with a S&C program and could use work on his burst. Doesn't seem to get downfield to a 2nd or 3rd level- tends to stick to his first guy until he is pancaked. Opens big holes in run support. Great tools to work with.
If he's coachable and works on his speed, he's going to be a good one for us.

Marcus could not make it to tOSU this weekend due to a church commitment. He has offers from Tennessee, Illinois, Michigan State, Syracuse, Indiana, Iowa State, Iowa, Minnesota, West Virginia and Ohio State.

I take it Marcus is not a member of the Church of Tressel? Kids these days, always choosing God first... Best of luck to Marcus and the 'Ville this year.

Very refreshing and I'm glad to see he has his priorities straight. I always love one of my coaches view that if you get it done off the field, you will get it done on Friday night.

With John Simon in the fold, Marcus has moved to #1 on my wish list.
