Marcus has approximately 24 offers now and still has tOSU, USC, and Illinois as leaders. He will attend practices at tOSU and Illinois and says he will likely attend tOSU's spring game.

any chance he will end up on defense?
Never seen him play, but from reading the posts on Hall, it seems like he would be a great get for the Buckeyes. Most folks here believe that he will end up on playing O-line. However, defensive tackle seems to be an area where we need to improve on from last season. To the folks who have seen him play and who feel confident in analyzing his film: can Hall improve our depth at DT? Does anybody think he will compete for a spot there if he were to become a Buckeye?
Everybody's responses are appreciated, thanks.

He's OL all the way, maybe a 5 star. DT was addressed aggressively in the '08 class (Goebel, Rowell, and maybe Mobley) and we already might have the best one in the nation in '09 with John Simon, among other targets.

I wouldn't say all the way...I would say that he has the talent to play on the defensive side of the ball and if the need would happen to arise I think he could pull it off, but with that said he is being recruited for the offensive side of the ball, so you would have to assume that is where he will end up...

I'm sure he has the talent to play on defense, but his talent on the offensive side of the ball had him being referred to as the most impressive OT at the Army All American Combine, and whatever the staff does in a hypothetical situation is pure specualtion. I was saying he is being recruited "all the way" as an OL, based on everything I've read and what the insiders are including him as.
