By Bill Kurelic...Hall's top 3 are (in order) Ohio State, USC, and Illinois. States he plans on visiting LSU and is unsure of the 5th official.

"My top three right now are Ohio State, Illinois and USC (no offer)," Marcus Hall said. "I don't want to put a timetable on anything, but I would like to take some visits before I commit." Hall grew up following the Buckeyes and says Ohio State still leads slightly. "I love the atmosphere there. Ohio State has great tradition and are always winning. It's a great place..."

So who is Hall rooting for and who does he think will win? "I can't say what I want to say because I'm from Ohio, but I think it'll be a great game," he answered.

I may be reading too much into this statement but this caught me off guard and gave me the first bit of doubt about Hall ending up at tOSU.

Or he thinks we're going to lose. Pretty ambiguous statement that could be read either way.

Early playin time doesn't look good for OSU if that is really important to him. Hopefully he is an O. Pace type of guy and will play early because he's that good. Wouldn't be shocked to see him follow Scott to Illinois. Hope I'm wrong.

Just wondering, based on what you guys have seen on film and or camps.
How do you think he compares to Shugarts/Adams?
and...
Do you think its possible that Hall could start as a freshman at either guard or tackle?
And...
Is Hall playing as a freshman at USC is more likley than at tOSU considering the the talent that they already have Martin Coleman , Tyron Smith , Matt Kalil , Matt Meyer and 09 commit Kevin Graf ?
Thanks alot
