Only people I could think of are Thoma and Daniel Dye.
What I mean regarding the totals? Well, there are clearly more than 16 people in the soph category and less than 15 in the redshirt fresh category. Should be 12 in RSfresh and 19 in soph.

I cannot believe how much the senior class (of 08) has shrunk. And if you think about it, Grant has only been here a year and is not part of the original class and Trevor Robinson was a walk-on.
It is going to be a smallish senior day and senior tackle this fall.

Oh, I see what you mean.

Anyway, I read if you're related to somebody who has played at Ohio State, they will put you on their practice squad. But that doesn't mean you'll dress for the games though. When I go to Ohio State to major in Sports Journalism, this is what I am going to do. I won't stop there, because I will try to dress and make the team.

He has 6 scholarships available for senior walkons.

many people think we finish with a top 10 (even top 5) class even with such a small signing class in 08; but if you look further forward to the size of the 09 signing class......oh man, I hope there are a ton of quality players in Ohio. Could be two straight years of finishing in top 5!

Hmm, I counted 7 available slots for this year, which could be bumped up one more if Lukens decides to retire. Either way, there aren't even that many walk-ons. Garnier, Daly, Haslam, Makridis, Dye, Ullery.
With the shortage of scholarships available for the recruiting class and Tressel's policy of not taking a scholarship away when you've been given one, I don't see any underclass walk-ons getting one of the final slots. We'll probably go with ~83 filled like last year.

Trapasso is the only scholarship punter, is he not?

You are correct. I'll make that correction once I get home from work. Thanks for catching that.

"Trapasso is the only scholarship punter, is he not?"
That would be correct, unless Thoma was given a scholy at some point.
