As my top 5 QB's for right now.

That high on Brantley? I can see it as a valid argument...he is smooth for sure.
I like Bostick...reminds me of Morelli from a few years ago.
Lalich has a huge upside...but is also fundamentally raw.
Fanuzzi is another great call...scary thing is, he still has plenty more to give in that throwing motion. He is a gunslinger.
Great list bro.
My top 5 would have Korn, Clausen, Brantley, Fanuzzi, and Bostick as pure QBs right now...
I see Lalich and Taylor as guys who will either be great or absolute busts..no in-between.

Your reason for having Claussen #1 (aside from being a blind homer) is that he's "the most coveted"? Wow....you convinced me.

I like everything I saw on the films. It also sems for being such a highly recruited player that he has dealt with all of the hype and attention tremendously. It seems like by the updates he is focusing in on everything that will make him a great collegiate player, and not worrying any about too much else.

I agree, but if you watch the films closely you will see how much he has developed his game from his sophomore to junior seasons. If he is making the same strides this summer, then in my opnion he will be a really special player. He seems to make all the throws and has the size of a college QB already.

Mallett's speed- or lack thereof, is being greatly exaggerated on this board.
|
The speed thing with Mallet to me is not foot speed, but football release speed. I think he could get the ball anywhere on the field, but it is going to start up front for him. If he gets in the right situation with a great OL, then look out. If he gets a good-mediocre OL, then imo he is in serious trouble. The same thing could be said of many QB's, but most do not have Mallet's potential.

Your grandpa craps his pants at the nursing home, too, doesn't he? It is not physically possible to throw a football 100 yards on the fly without a 50-MPH gale behind you.

nbogan- Gotta say that I think Chiles isn't even going to end up at QB imo. Brantley is so tough that he would definetly be better off at WR. I know he is being recruited as a QB and wants to play there, but I just think unless there is an injury, there is no way it happens.

saw tape from a nebraska camp where he threw it 78 yards and the reciever dropped it. He's a good one.
