If all 2 or 3 star recruits were as talented, on average, as 4/5 star recruits, schools like Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Iowa State would be competetive for the conference title every year w/ schools like OSU, Texas, scUM, Florida, etc.

(I had a HUGE explanation of what I meant, trying to justify the meaning of my statment, but as I typed I started confusing even myself, so I decided to save the rest of you the same headache )
I probably should have stated "in and of itself - star rankings are generally a poor way to gage a recruits skill level", then I might have saved myself this far too long-winded explanation of the intent of my original post. (which I have since deleted anyway)...hmmm, maybe that still doesn't get to the heart of my intent. "For Coaching Staffs..." Aw, screw it. I'll shut up now. I'm going home.

Yes, I think it is really ignorant to have people who pretend they are Ted Ginn, Troy Smith, etc... on myspace. I even saw a COACH TRESSEL! I mean do you actually think Coach Tressel has time for myspace? Myspace is for kids and young adults. People ask if it's really him too! There are a few that are real on there though. But it's pathetic I agree.

My great great uncle Clifford Heffelfinger (#45) played at OSU in 1939. And my cousin Evan Jablonka (#84) plays right now. Anyway, I read if you're related to somebody who has played at Ohio State, they will put you on their practice squad. But that doesn't mean you'll dress for the games though. When I go to Ohio State to major in Sports Journalism, this is what I am going to do. I won't stop there, because I will try to dress and make the team.
