A 2004 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Jonte Stroud is a 6'1, 220 pound outside linebacker at Long Beach City College. After being away from football for a few years, Stroud enrolled at LBCC in 2006, and he made an immediate impact on the field, picking up right where he left off in high school. I recently spoke with Stroud and he is enjoying himself in California. Nevertheless, would love to return home to the Buckeye State to play for Ohio State. He is also interested in Michigan, UCLA, USC, Iowa, UCLA, and Michigan State. There is currently no word on how schools feel about him, but he is currently sending films to different schools to generate interest, so business may pick up for him sooner than later. He wants to get in as soon as possible, but he knows that it's not going to happen overnight. Hopefully, schools will take notice and give him a look. He's a freshman, so he has time to get his name out.
