In all honesty, Rolle wasn't overlooked by Florida. They were very aware of him and seemed on the verge of offering after he committed, but decided not to. Either way, he turned down some nice offers to come to
OSU and I'm glad to have him aboard. Jenkins, Gamble, and Holmes have all turned out nicely for us when they weren't highly regarded in their own state. Salley, Lydell Ross, Chris Vance also had their moments. Florida is so richly talented that the Big 3 can't get them all and there are bound to be a bunch of under the radar guys. Now Brewster was a great get for us this year and that is the first time we have landed an extremely highly regarded star like that in Florida in a long time as far as ratings go(I believe Bryce Bishop was the last of that type we had). Regardless, the players we have landed from Florida have paid dividends for us and many more of that sort have their shot soon like Chekwa, Dukes, Rolle, and Scott (though UF wanted Scott).
