Insider fact....or speculation?

When will ESPN decide he hasn't proven himself in the studio?

Ah well, too bad about Simon not getting his 4th star, but it will just allow tOSU fans the opportunity to cite his name as well as Hawk, Laurinitis, Jenkins and Gamble in 2015 when someone is running down a current 3* recruit not being worthy of a scholly
![]() He looked good in the Army game, looked strong, obvious, and seemed to have a good motor, if he keeps that up he will be a solid contributor at the very least while wearing S&G with the potential to be soooo much more. |

Does it seem like the rankings favor skill position players?

No Hyde, Simon, or Whiting is ridiculous. All 3 are top 150 minimum imo.

Simon not being a 4star is more than I can take. I'm done.

The oft stated reality that if these recruiting gurus were actually good at evaluating talent they'd be working on the staff of a major program comes to mind. I mean, Whiting was one of our first offers and our first commitment. JT and the staff obviously saw something spectacular with this kid. Does Rivals really believe that people with the track record of JT, Mack Brown, Urban Meyer, et. al are that far off in terms of their early offers?

New Scout rankings are out and, surprise surprise, OSU commits are falling like rocks.
Hall and Berry are no longer 5* players, and somehow Corey Brown drops a spot in the CB after his phenomenal all-star showings. And JT Turner is a 5* and #3 corner now? ![]() To their credit, they did move Carter up to #10 in the WR rankings, and Mewhort is the #10 ranked tackle. |
