Some people are waaaay off on the backing off thing. But, it just goes to show that even the so called "experts" are not always right. Or not "informed".
In general I believe we tend to invest too much into these situations.

According to the source, James still seems more enamored with Ohio State and Cincinnati than he does with Charlie Weis and Notre Dame.

James is expected to attend Cincinnati's spring game this weekend. Just before visiting Notre Dame last Saturday, he visited Ohio State.

Matt recently visited Notre Dame and had a good time, no commit though. Top 3 are the same (Ohio State, ND and Cincy) and is also looking at Florida, BC and Wisconsin. Says he was told he is their #1 guy on the OL this year.

So, the no commit was good... but is Seantrel Henderson not at the top of their list? Apparently not.

I don't think that ND is in S Henderson's top ten. It's not clear who dropped who and for what reasons.

I do believe that M James is #1 on ND's board, at left tackle.
