Players to Watch in 2010 class
From IrishIllustrated.com
IrishIllustrated.com - Ten to watch in 2010 class
From the same school of Mike Floyd.
Quote:
Seantrel Henderson, OT, 6-8, 301
Saint Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Derham Hall
As big as Gray is, Henderson is even bigger at the same stage. Henderson comes from a power program, and is also a standout in basketball and track. He won numerous events at the Minnesota Junior Olympics Outdoor Championships, and is already on the radar of Minnesota, Notre Dame, Ohio State and others.

From Ohio.
Quote:
Derek Roback, QB, 6-2, 200
Waverly, Ohio
Roback has excellent size already at 6 feet 2 and 200 pounds. In 2006 he was a national finalist in the Pepsi Punt, Pass and Kick competition and is an outstanding athlete ? he runs better than 4.8 in the 40-yard dash. He was the quarterback MVP at the NationalUnderclassmen.com Ultimate 100 in June.

What's even more amazing is that Rivals is predicting great things from Roback as a quarterback, even though he isn't even the starter. Granted, Trevor Walls-- a potential D-IA recruit in his own right-- is the starter and Roback plays WR to get them both on the field, but counting him as one of ten to watch for '10 based largely on combine performances seems a bit presumptuous.

There is a thread going on Roback which already has that quote in it. That article is from back in August. And that article is not from IrishIllustrated...it was written by Mike Farrell and the Rivals.com staff.
'10 OH QB Derek Roback

Nope...just wanted to clarify things a bit...nothing wrong with have a thread for general discussion about the top talent in Ohio in 2010. Eric Howard's name should to be a part of that discussion as well.

Here's a name for you: Brion (Bree-on) Carnes 6'3 175 QB Manatee HS Bradenton FL. Same HS that produced Tommy Fraser (Nebraska) I passed the info along to grad21 to see if he could "scoop" him for Recruitingplanet. I never heard how that turned out.
