Does anyone recall a year Ohio has had so many great looking LB prospects in one class.. I do not recall ever a year with so much star power and depth in one class.. holy cow!

While i dont think the Top 3 or Top 5 kids in this class are on the same level as the 08 Ohio class... this group of players goes about 40 to 50 deep in quality players..
You look at some of these LBs in Ohio, and there are about 10 of them who are pretty darn good and hard to seperate from one another.. Teams like Michigan St. are gonna get some fine football players if they just hang around and snatch up whoever OSU, Michigan, Illinois, and ND dont want |

So, I was perusing through the Rivals database to see the types of athletes from the different states so far this year... mainly because it is early and I just want to see who's out there for '09.
Anyways, I was looking through Michigan's kids and came across a kid by the name of Dan Meurer. He is listed as a Safety, but with his height and speed combination, I think he would be a tremendous goal line threat as a WR. He needs to gain a little bit weight, as he is 6'5"+ and only listed as 170lbs... but with the right Strength and Conditioning program, especially with the one we have here at Ohio state, it could go a long way in helping him develop into a solid receiving threat.
