Orson Charles sounds to me like the kind of TE 45 alluded to in an earlier discussion on this thrread. He's talking up a big interest in us and may be heading up to one of the camps.

Going to try and make sense of what is going on with the recruiting...
Think that number is going to be around 26-28...They will fit certain guys in...If there is room under the 85 limit... So lets take a look at position by position... QB - Unless Nicely knocks their socks off at camp we don't take one... RB - All signs point to Berry to tOSU...Same with Hyde...Just a matter of them visiting... FB - We are done with Homan and Boren... TE - With the recent offers and commitment of Fragel it looks like the staff is looking for a field stretching type... WR - We have 2...Carter is all but done...We would take one of Brown, Boyd, Debose, or Evans...Not sure how high the chances on the fourth one are tho... OL - 4...They will take four, it is either Watt, or if he decides to go elsewhere an offer will go to one of Klatt, Longo, Spiker, etc... DL - Another place I am kinda lost...Fellows and Simon are in the bag...Top on the list would be Adams, we are going to have to wait on him...Most signs point Muldoon as in, same with Newsome...With offers out to what seems like 4 other DE over the past month it would look like they are trying to either push Muldoon or they want another one...Right now I will go with 5...The 4 I have listed along with an extra DE, and if Adams wants to come there is no way you turn him down...Or if a guy like Ezell or Johnson jumps on board does that take Muldoon's spot? Are they trying to get him to commit? LB - Think we are done...The only offer out there is Telfort and you could argue that his offer is as a S...Think we are done tho...Think Telfort is quite the longshot anyways, with a slim chance if all the florida guys hop on board and he likes that... DB - This is where it is so dicey that I can't rap my head around it...We already have Wood and Barnett...I think that 6 is the magic number, read somewhere that the staff is looking to take 4 more...Not sure which article...But we have offers out to Brown, Vlad, McGee, McDougald, Green, Clarke, Hunter(?), Banks, Sweeting, and Hawkins... I would think we have the lead for... Brown (said he was waiting on the offer, just a matter of getting here to visit in the next month) Vlad (visit = over) McGee (Will wait to take visits, but he is the type that you wait on, and right now we are the big leader, USC is the main competition IMO) McDougald (local kid, that has us as the leader) Green (Said all along he wanted us to offer, his bro played here) Banks (Family ties) Hunter (middletown kid, does he have an offer for sure?) Clarke (maybe not lead here, but solid shot) Sweeting (not lead, but he was taken back by the offer and wants to take a look) I still think that it is Brown, Vlad, McGee, McDougald that get in, but think that Green might pull the trigger if he for sure has an offer...Would we take 7 and wait on McGee? What if Banks wants in soon? What about Hunter? or Clarke? So my best/educated guess right now... RB - Berry RB - Hyde FB - Homan FB - Boren TE - Fragel TE - Sims/Hageman/?? - Just think we are looking to take a second one, not sure who to peg in here yet. WR - Jackson WR - Fields WR - Carter WR - Maybe one of the big targets Boyd/Debose/Evans/Brown - that is the order that I think we have the best shot at as well... OL - Linsley OL - Mewhort OL - Hall OL - Watt/Longo/Klatt/Spiker - In that order... DE - Fellows DE - Newsome DE/DT - Muldoon DT - Simon DL - Adams or someone else...Ezell, etc... LB - Bell LB - Klein LB - Whiting DB - Barnett DB - Wood DB - McDougald DB - Vlad DB - McGee DB - Brown DB - Green That is 29 right there and that is obviously not going to happen, I still think the number for DB is 6, but who gets left off...What about DL...What about the extra TE, or the extra WR on top of Carter... Think that is where we are going to see the numbers get cut to get us down to 26 or so... Thoughts?
