And for a lack of what else to say, they better be playing better a year from now.
But back on topic, all this talk about Carlos made me re-watch his youtube highlight video. If I had any doubt, I don't anymore. Carlos is a HB all the way at the next level and I can NOT wait to see some video of him from his senior season. I don't think I've seen a back with better balance than Carlos. He just has an uncanny ability to stay on his feet and keep trucking. Just when you think he's finally going to go down, he finds his balance again (sometimes even using a spin move to find his center of gravity AND break a tackle), keeps his legs pumping, and tries his best to stay in bounds. Stylistically, I think he runs more like Keith Byers than Beanie, but one thing's for sure... he runs like a Buckeye.

The key word for Carlos Hyde is versatility. He reminds me a lot of Jehuu Caulcrick from Michigan State, except with more agility and more speed.
I would love to see our offense utilize him in the same manner USC utilizes Stanly Havili. Kid can block, run, catch.......do it all. Just have to give him the opportunites.

A 56-yard run by Carlos Hyde on the first play of the second half put the Eagles (6-1) up 34-7. The next 12 minutes belonged to Barron (3-3). Specifically, to Thornton.

Pratt shared the load with fullback Carlos Hyde, who ran for 136 yards on 13 carries. It was the third time this season the Eagles have had two 100-yard rushers. Pratt's 191 yards is the highest total for a Naples runner this season.

He may see a lot of playing time right away. At least one more guy besides Herron.
