This recruiting class is amazing. Just when I'm starting to get preoccupied about some of the recruits we don't have, I get reminded about one of the amazing kids already in the fold. I can't wait for Jackson's speed to be in S&G.

Scout $
7/24
By Berk...photos from a 7-on-7.
Reminds me of Deonte Thompson...similar speed and build. Look at their Scout evaluations:
Jackson:
STRENGTHS
Downfield Threat
Quickness off Line
Speed
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Durability
Hands and Concentration
Route-Running Skills
Has elite acceleration and speed. Can run past almost any defender and is dangerous in the open field. Is also an outstanding return man who can go the distance at any point in time. Shows toughness and willingness to block and go into traffic. Makes some tough grabs, but must continue to become more consistent catching the ball. Creates separation with quickness, but must continue to improve route running as well. Needs to add weight/durability.
Thompson:
STRENGTHS
Downfield Threat
Elusiveness with Catch
Speed
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Hands and Concentration
Route-Running Skills
Thompson is a threat to score any time he touches the ball with great moves and blazing football speed. Thompson has a great feel for the football when running his routes and in the open field he maintains his speed into and out of his cuts. He needs to be a little more consistent with the ball and focus on every play to ensure his routes are run properly before the ball is released.

Similar helmets as well and I'm with you...Thompson is a good comparison.

Ah, but you forgot to account for Thompson's Florida speed and Jackson's Big-10 speed.

Deonte Thompson is probably the best comparison. Both have similar size and excellent straight-line speed. I think both could add a little more muscle and become a little more physical, but the potential is there.
