Reid might end up being the sleeper in this class. He'll have the size and blocking mentality to contribute, if not start, right away for us. You don't see high school juniors that big and that strong.
FREAK.

I agree with you. We lose Nicol and Smith to graduation and Ballard will show up in a lot of mock drafts so there's a slight chance he could leave early(I don't think he will but ya' never know). Even if he doesn't, the only other scholarship TE would be Dillilo and he'd only have one year on Reid. I can't see Reid redshirting.

There is plenty of time to work on speed with Reid, especially if it's a tenth or two tenths of a second we're talking about here. A 4.8 40 is respectable for a TE. Plus, he's just finishing his JR year, for goodness sake. Keep in mind that Reid is only 10 pounds heavier and 2 inches taller than Jake Stoneburner at the same points in their careers, and there wasn't a PEEP about Jake playing OL.
Now Reid's not going to be running any 4.4 40's like Jake, but I'm just sayin'...

When has Stoneburner ever been over 240 lbs?
